Greene Pasture Ranch has always been a labor of love when we started as a Dairy Farm in the 1980's. Through the years, natural means of fertilization and minimal harsh implementation (to protect our carbon footprint and retain organic standards), the farm has been kept free of contaminants, polluters, pesticides and un-natural growth additives.
Today, we keep the farm green and have become good stewards of the land and animals we care for. We partner with the USDA for various environmental partnerships, we are members of the NY Farm Bureau and we subscribe to the NY Cattleman Producers and the Beef Checkoff program. We produce USDA Certified Grassfed Grass-Finished Beef.
Victoria, the Managing Steward of the land, grew up on the then, 650 acre dairy farm. She has her degree from SUNY Potsdam, has attained her Masters in Beef Advocacy and is BQA Certified. She has also completed Cornell Small Farms courses on Intensive Beef Grazing and participated in many seminars on Cattle Nutrition, Welfare, Humane Treatment, is a member of the New York Beef Cattleman's Association and on the Board of Directors for the Chenango County Farm Bureau.
The invaluable and tireless help from Milady, her mother, her 2 daughters and Gregg Goodrich, have helped to restore the farm to sustainable use, and make sure the animals and land are cared for and are enriched.
We are proud to supply Farm Fresh meats, dairy, eggs, produce, grains and baked goods to our communities. We support our local Farms and Farmer's Markets.
